Hello Human is a facilitated team connection experience that helps professionals navigate empathy, active listening, and the basics of connection without the awkwardness.
Using thoughtfully crafted questions and expert facilitation, I create psychological safety so that people can actually see and hear each other, leading to better collaboration and performance.
Nope. Although we use a card-based tool, Hello Human is a structured, evidence-based approach to building connection. Playing the Hello Human card game deepens connection, and the workshops focus on reinforcing the basics of good communication. It's guided conversation that creates measurable improvements in how teams relate to each other.
No, you can't. The Hello Human cards are a facilitation tool, not available for separate purchase. When you book a Hello Human session, you're investing in a professionally facilitated experience that creates psychological safety and guides meaningful dialogue. The magic isn't in the cards, it's in how we use them.
Three things: First, it's facilitated by someone experienced in creating psychological safety, not a generic team building coordinator. Second, it focuses on authentic human connection rather than just "fun activities." Third, it's measurable, you'll see tangible before and after results, not just vague feelings of "that was nice."
Most team building focuses on activities like bowling or escape rooms rather than actual connection. Those can be fun, but they don't change how people relate to each other. Hello Human is about guided conversation and building communication skills. It's less about "fun" and more about transformation.
It's ideal for teams of up to 8 people, but we can push it to 10 if necessary. It's small enough for everyone to be seen and heard and large enough for diverse perspectives. For larger teams (11-25 people), we'll adapt the format with breakout groups or extended sessions. For teams over 25, let's have a conversation about what structure would work best. The goal is to maintain intimacy and psychological safety, which becomes harder in very large groups.
Hello Human has been tested and refined through professional networking sessions with business leaders across Johannesburg. In these settings, participants reported:
Connection scores increasing from 66% to 91% in a single 90-minute session
Actually looking at and engaging with each other, not just exchanging business cards
Conversations moving from "What do you do?" to genuine interest in who people are
A willingness to be vulnerable and authentic in a professional setting
Participants returning month after month because the connection felt meaningful
This stays the same in a business setting: when people feel seen and heard, the way they relate to each other shifts.
For your team specifically, you can expect:
Measurable improvement in connection and psychological safety
Team members engaging authentically with each other
Increased empathy and understanding across different personalities and communication styles
A foundation for better collaboration and more honest conversations
Tools and practices to sustain connection beyond the session
The specific outcomes depend on where your team starts and what you're trying to achieve. That's why we begin with the assessment and discovery call to understand your baseline and set clear expectations.
