Transformation Workshop for JAW Design

  • I ran a Transformation Workshop for them, customised to address their needs.

The Challenge

JAW Design was recently bought out and the client wanted to strengthen how the team works together as the business evolves. The team already had strong relationships, and they wanted to focus on maintaining those while:

  • clarifying professional boundaries

  • sharpening intentional communication

  • aligning how work is done and suppliers are briefed.

This was not about fixing a broken team but rather setting the team up for clarity and growth in this new season.
 

The Approach

We started the workshop with a round of the Hello Human game. This created psychological safety, allowing the team to share deeply and openly.

We then moved on to various interactive workshop exercises. We explored empathy and active listening, navigating friendships and boundaries, team capabilities and trust, how to have difficult conversations, and what a good supplier brief looks like.

By the end of the session, the team had aligned on boundaries, felt more confident addressing uncomfortable issues, and felt confident that they had practical tools to improve how they relate to others at work. The workshop didn’t change the culture, it helped the team mature it.
