Yesterday was such a beautiful event and a reminder of the power of real connection.
Using Hello Human, I had the opportunity to connect strangers at the Fortune Favours the Brave event. My stand was bright pink, as was my jacket. There was no way you could miss me!

The room was abuzz with the sound of 450 women socialising and the atmosphere was electric.
It struck me how challenging it can be to enter a room like this without knowing anyone. From my vantage point, I saw women on their own, seemingly unsure about how to engage.
I noticed them and stepped in, asking if I could chat with them for a second. I then brought another person into the circle, and together they each answered a question about being brave.
The questions ranged from "What's a personal boundary you’ve had to defend, even when it was uncomfortable?" to "When have you felt brave just for getting through the day?".
Some of the stories the ladies shared will stay with me for a long time.

The feedback was fantastic:

"Yesterday, you showed up exactly as we knew you would - fully, brilliantly, and with a stand that wasn’t just beautiful, but magnetic. You created a space, one where people wanted to linger, connect, and be part of something bigger. The impact you made, the conversations you sparked, the connections you nurtured - they went far beyond the physical stand. You brought energy, presence, and possibility into the room, and we are so grateful for it." Taryn Hunter Sharman, The Brave Collective.
I am exhausted, but my heart is full.
Until next time,
Marinda
